Logos

For both logos and web, I charge $25.00/hour. Generally, I spend around 20 hours on a logo.

The logo process involves 4 conceptual stages:
Corporate Activity shows something about the product or the activity of the company.
Corporate Ideals doesn't show what the company does rather something about the qualities to which the company aspires or wishes to have associated with it.
Corporate Name visualizes the name of the company itself.
Graphic identity shows nothing about the activities, ideals or names of their respective corporations; they are just a unique graphic or a unique typographic treatment.

Infinity Concepts Guarantee (ICG)
After going through logo/concept sketches I would then make a digital version of my best concept and we discuss it. If you do not like it, I go back to the drawing board and continue working on the logo at no cost and come up with a new concept. This will happen as many times as it takes until you love your logo. This all translates into my Infinity Concepts Guarantee whereby you are not limited to one concept but receive as many as needed up to infinity.

Base Design
The Base design is what your site will look like without your content. To replicate the content, I often put in image placeholders (unrelated images of where your pictures or artwork would be), and dummy text. It will also include the obvious elements such as your logo, fonts, links, footer, etc.

Inner Pages
The inner pages often take on a similar layout. I have them priced at: $60.00 for small amount of content, $90.00 for medium amount of content, and $120.00 for lots of content. If 2 pages are very similar, I charge less to make the other one.
Small amount of Content = $60.00/page
Medium Content = $90.00/page
Big Content = $120.00/page
If 2 pages are very similar, I will not charge very much to make the other one
Homepage
The homepage is the most important page of your website. This is where someone will decide to leave and never come back or stay and find out more information. The homepage has a slightly different look and feel than the inner pages as it is designed with calls to action and limited text. My goal is for the user to say "wow!" when they come to your website.

Forms
I don't specialize with forms since it involves back end coding and I am a designer, but I use an online program called Email Me Form to help me create basic contact forms.

Extras
Professional photography is key. I buy my photos at istockphoto.com and go through 100's of photos before making any decisions.
Fonts can be powerful. I sometimes will buy a font if I think a specific one can help the website and get its message across.
There are tons of different web hosting sites and packages, lots are around $80.00/year.

Coding
Up to this point, the website is just a design. To make it a website, a number of tasks are performed. They mainly involve coding and implementing the site. Here are some of the steps: In order for a website to load quickly, it needs to be cut up into smaller images, and saved out to be optimized for the web. The html and CSS need to be created to make and style the website. The site also need to be tested in different browsers. I test mine in the 4 most commons browsers: PC - Firefox, Internet Explorer | Mac - Safari, Firefox. These are just a few of the steps to convert your design into a website.
